Zainsk region

This mosque was built in 1897 on the money of the rich peasant Gabdelmannan khadzha. The two-storeyed brick building is situated on an open plot amidst country houses. The mosque has two praying rooms and the minaret in the centre of the roof. The rectangular main building has the low ground floor with household premises, which in the west part turns into a semi-socle story. The entrance is in the north side. Its west facade is adjoined by a boarded annex which was built later. The enfilade of the rooms is on the main floor. Its corners and the inter-hall pier of the facades are decorated with the blades turning into small stepping buttresses. A lost minaret was supported by a contiguous wall between halls. Its facades are erected in the eclectic style of the classicism trend.
