    The mosque was built in 1889-1890. The wooden one-storeyed building is located on a fenced plot surrounded by one-storeyed country houses. It is a mosque with two praying rooms and a minaret on the roof.

    The main part of the building is a pentagon with the enfilade of two praying rooms. The entry tambour adjoins it in its north part. The minaret with eight facets is displaced from the axis to the tambour. The lower tier has a spiral staircase leading to the platform of a muezzin. The walls of the log framework are bricked at the end of 1990.

    It's the typical Tatar mosque with a rather flattened building and the well-proportioned minaret. Some elements of classicism and Tatar decorative applied art are used in its styling.

     

     

     

    The mosque village Kukmanaevo

    This mosque was supposedly built at the end of the 19th -beginning of the 20th centuries.

    The mosque is located in the south- eastern part of the village at streets' crossing. It is a mosque with two rooms and a minaret on its roof. The building has one storey, a high ground floor and a gable roof. The narrower vestibule is attached from the north side. Stairs in the vestibule lead to the main floor. The entry to the ground floor is under the staircase. The eastern facade has another entry to it. There is an enfilade of the vestibule and the small and the big praying rooms. The mikhrab niche with the profiled vaulted crown is in the south wall of the main room. From the outside it is moulded with the rectangular corbel under the gable roof. The wall between the rooms supports the eight-faceted minaret with two tiers and the hipped crown. The spiral staircase in the minaret's blind shaft leads to the platform of a muezzin. The pine-log framework is sheathed with siding boards.

    It is a monument of Tatar religious architecture distinguished for fine proportions and traditional composition. The shapes and constructions of wooden architecture arc combined with elements of classicism.

     

    The third cathedral mosque village Stepnoe ozero

    This mosque was built in 1905 - 1906. It is situated on the left lakeside, in the very centre of the village. It has two praying rooms and a minaret on its root. The building has three parts covered with separate gable roofs, which place the vestibule, the small and main praying rooms and mikhrab.

    The entrance to the mosque is in the north facade under the balcony and the gable roof on two supports. The staircase leads to the main floor. From here wooden steep stairs lead to the garret and minaret. The mikhrab niche's semicircular arch is opened into the main praying room.

    The minaret is supported by a cross wall between the rooms and is rather shifted to the north from the central axis. Two lower tiers of the minaret contain the staircase leading to the platform of a muezzin. From the north and the south the mosque with its stepping rise of its parts crowned by the peak with a half-moon looks more dynamically.

    It is a monument of Tatar religious architecture with combination of traditional shapes and elements of wooden architecture and urban architecture of the classicism.

     

    The mosque Nurlat town

    This mosque was built in 1988 according to the project by the architect R.V. Bilalov. The Cathedral mosque is situated at the crossing of Komsomol and Suvorov streets and is set at an angle with the street buildings.

    It is a rectangular two-storeyed building made of brick and covered with the hip roof of a composite configuration. The mosque has separate entries and praying rooms for men and women; there is a corner setting of the minaret above the entry. The entrance to the mosque is in the right corner of the east facade. The floor entries through the tambours of the lower tier of the minaret are leading to the vestibule part. On the first floor in the north part of the building there are guest and service rooms; in the south part there is a praying room for women. The two praying rooms for men are on the second floor. The staircase is leading from the north-eastern corner of the building to the eight-faceted minaret with two tiers. The minaret's metal framework is sheathed with corrugating aluminium plates. The mosque is built of silica brick, the corners and window framings are made of red brick. The year of its construction - 1988 - is laid of red brick on the east facade of the mikhrab. The interior is styled in the modern way and is practically devoid of decoration.

    The mosque is a modern Moslem religious building with the praying rooms for men and women and the asymmetrical setting of the minaret in its north-eastern corner.
