The mosque village Verkhnije Verezi

This mosque was built in 1902 according to the design by Abdulla Mansurov, which was approved by the Council of Kazan Province on the 28th of May, 1902. But there were found some differences in details between the design and the building.
Its wooden building is located on the bank of the river, in the centre of the village, and surrounded by dwelling houses. It is a one-storeyed mosque with two praying rooms and a minaret in the centre of its roof. The high ground floor has household premises. The mosque has the enfilade of two praying rooms and the vestibule. There is a cantilever mikhrab on the south facade. It is opened into the interior with the vaulted niche with profiled framing.
The entry is in the eastern side. The inner staircase leads to the main level of the vestibule. There is a narrow staircase leading to the garret and the two-tiered eight-faceted minaret set along the hall's and the vestibule's contiguous wall.
The mosque's log walls are set on the white limestone foundation and boarded horizontally. The semicircular apertures on pediments are traditionally framed with the gloriole. The facades are decorated in the eclectic style with some elements of folk and classicism architecture.
