The mosque Arsk town
The mosque is situated on the highest point in the central part of the town and is dominating in the town's panorama. It is a brick two-storeyed mosque with two praying rooms and the minaret on its roof, its rectangular building has a four-pitched roof. On each floors two cross-walls are dividing the interior space into three parts: the vestibule (the hall on the second floor) and the praying rooms. The pentahedral mikhrab's part under the hipped roof is projecting in the south facade. The main entrance to the mosque is on the east facade. Another entry is in the north facade.
The eight-faceted two-tiered minaret is kerfed into the north pitch of the roof so that its northern facet is an extension of the wall. The minaret looks rather stern due to the lack of apertures of the tier of the muezzin. The corners, merlons, window and door casings, cornices of the building, arrises of facets and cornices of the minaret are decorated with red brick shape masonry.
The mosque is a modern Moslem religious construction with traditional layout and arrangement and motifs of fortress architecture of the minaret's and mikhrab's shapes.
