The second cathedral mosque village Almetjevsk town
 The stone building of the Second Cathedral Mosque was built according to different information in 1872, or in 1877 in accordance with the order of the Authorities of Samara province.
It is a one-storeyed mosque with two praying rooms and a minaret on its roof. The main part of the building is attached with the square vestibule from the north and the wide rectangular mikhrab from the south. They are of the same height, but the vestibule's and mikhrab's gable roofs are lower than the main building's roof. The enfilade of rooms is illuminated by arched windows. The wide rectangular door apertures with the narrow windows in both sides visually link all the rooms of the mosque. The mikhrab with its wide arch with a segmental crown is opened into the interior of the main praying room. The flat ceiling of the rooms is decorated with the panels. At the middle of the 1990s the mosque was reconstructed and the minaret, which was lost in 1930s, was restored. The staircase leads from the vestibule to the garret and the minaret.
The mosque's facades are faced with well-lapped stone ti1e. The peculiarity of the facades' design is their second wooden cornice and frieze, which considerably extend the mosque's height. It is the monument of Tatar religious architecture of the last quarter of the 19th century with traditional layout and arrangement and styling of its facades and interiors in the eclectic style of classicism trend. The style of the restored minaret does not correspond with the mosque's design.
The mosque named after R.G.Galeev Almetjevsk town
The mosque was mimed after the chairman of the Board of “Tatneft” company, who made a generous contribution to the construction of the mosque. The mosque was built in 1990-1999 according to the project by the architects A.M.Zakirov and F.M. Mavlutov, engineers S.S. Abdullin, A.A.Gareev, V.LMaslova. The mosque is situated on the plot of land with relief drop. It belongs to the type of a dome mosque with a minaret on its roof. It is a 3-4-storeyed brick building the southern half of which places the praying room for 1200 persons covered up with the high dome. The northern part contains the conference-hall and auxiliary facilities. On the first floor of both parts there are study rooms. The main minaret (53.5 metres) rises above the north part of the building. The eight-faceted minarets (36.2 metres) rises above the praying room's corners. The gilded dome towers above the flat roof. Inside the room its walls, ceiling and inner surface of the dome are decorated with coloured tile. The windows in the upper part of the dome part and the second level of the praying room are decorated with stained glass panels. The mosque is a modern Moslem religious building with the large variety of functions.
