The mosque village Starije Urgagari

This mosque was built with permission of Kazan Province Council (July 19, 1905). It is situated in the centre of the village. It is a one-storeyed mosque with two praying rooms and a minaret on its root. The mosque has two rooms for praying and the vestibule with the entrance from the north side, which is rather displaced to the right from a longitudinal axis. It also has the high household ground floor. The rectangular corbel of the mikhrab in the south facade, the main building and the vestibule's part of the building have two separate gable roofs. The eight-faceted minaret with two tiers under a high refined steep hipped roof is set on a cross wall between the halls and rises in the roof’s centre. The staircase leading to the minaret is in the vestibule. The spiral staircase in the blind lower tier leads to the platform of the muezzin. The mosque is a boarded pine-log framework. The elements of folk architecture are used in the facades' styling.
